I started Junior Einsteins Science Club® because I believe every child deserves to see science come alive right in front of them, with their own hands in the mix. Founder’s Message

I’m Tracey-Jane Cassidy— a scientist, a mother, and the founder of Junior Einsteins Science Club®. My background is in Natural Science and medical microbiology, but my real education came from watching primary school children’s faces the first time they see slime stretch, a spark of static electricity jump, or a rocket they built themselves take off. That moment, when curiosity turns into confidence, is what we build every session around.

We started in Dublin, Ireland. Today, Junior Einsteins Science Club® reaches thousands of children across Ireland, the UK, Canada, Saudi Arabia and Luxembourg,  through a growing community of franchise owners, and through partnerships with major organisations and International Schools globally under our licence model, bringing hands-on STEM into new communities on a much bigger scale.

We’ve also built our EdTech platform for teachers and STEM & Enrichment coordinators, including those working in PYP settings, so that same hands-on curiosity can live inside the classroom every day.

I’ve been honoured to carry that mission further than I ever imagined, speaking at the United Nations’ New York International Women and Girls in Science Day, being named STEM Woman of the Year and STEM Role Model of the Year in Ireland, Business Woman of the Year (STEM Professional), named one of  Ireland’s 21 Standout Women for International Women’s Day 2025 by The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade Ireland and watching Junior Einsteins Science Club® recognised among the best children’s franchises in the world. But the proudest moments are still the small ones: a child who tells us science is now their favourite subject, or a partner who tells me this collaboration gave their community something it didn’t have before.

We teach children how to think, not what to think. That’s what a ‘Junior Einstein’ is  curious, unafraid to get messy, and always ready to ask why.
