Halloween Camps Spooky Science, Lab Coats and a Whole Lot of Wonder: Our Camps This Autumn and Winter
Halloween midterm, sorted: hands-on science camps near you. Halloween Camps Spooky Science, Lab Coats and a Whole Lot of Wonder: Our Camps This Autumn and Winter
Some of the loveliest moments at Junior Einsteins Science Club® happen in a split second. A child’s eyes widen as foam erupts from a flask. A quiet seven-year-old raises a hand to explain why it happened. A group of new friends cheer as their creation works on the third attempt.
That is what our camps are made of. This midterm, and right through to the new year, our Junior Einsteins pull on their lab coats and goggles for mornings packed with screen-free, hands-on science, from bubbling potions and glowing reactions to spooky forensics and fizzing chemistry.
More than experiments
Our Halloween camps teach children how to think, rather than what to think. Every experiment begins with a question, and the children work it out together through prediction, testing and discovery. Along the way they build:
- Critical thinking and problem solving
- Teamwork and leadership
- Creativity and imagination
- Real scientific vocabulary, so they speak the language of science with confidence
- A proud sense of identity: “I am a Junior Einstein”
The same gold standard approach is now used by international schools around the world, and our work in primary science was honoured with the Engaged Teaching and Learning Award at Trinity College Dublin’s Civic Engagement Awards 2026. Above all, though, it is about joy. Children leave buzzing, a little messy, and full of stories for the car home.
