Ever seen a marshmallow man grow before your eyes? Junior Astronaut Training turns your child into a space cadet for our Space Week finale in Luxembourg City. Every experiment is explained in English and in French, so your child works in whichever language feels easiest.
- Date: Sunday 11 October 2026, 3:30pm to 4:20pm
- Also running: Out of This World at 2:30pm and Rocket Races at 4:30pm. They’re different sessions, and each one is booked separately, so book one, two or all three.
- Ages: 5 to 11
- Venue: The Office Charlotte, 29 Boulevard Grande-Duchesse Charlotte, L-1331 Luxembourg
- Places: limited
- Cost: €30 per child, paid when you book
What your child will do
Your child trains like a real astronaut with four games: Gravity and No Gravity, Equilibrium Exploration, Brain Twister and Topological Tango. First, they’ll watch our Expanding Marshmallow Man puff up inside a vacuum pump. Next, they’ll test Anti-Gravity Water and see our instructor’s Jetpack Fuel foam blast. There’s a Black Hole Simulator to spin and a Collision Course ball drop to try. Then everyone heads outside to launch Pop Rockets. Every child also takes home a Junior Einsteins sticker.
Atoms and Molecules
Children aged 5 to 8 sit at the Atoms table, while children aged 9 to 11 sit at the Molecules table. Even so, it’s the same session, pitched at two levels. Our older scientists also dig into real astronaut facts.
Drop-off, and what we provide
Drop your child off at the start, then collect them 50 minutes later. You don’t need to stay. We provide a lab coat and safety goggles, so there’s nothing to bring. The coat and goggles stay with us when the session ends.
Spooky Science Halloween Camp
Our Spooky Science Halloween Camp is a separate holiday camp. It runs Monday 2 to Friday 6 November 2026, 9am to 1pm, at Laborartorium, 24 Rue Geespelt, 3378 Livange, which is a different venue from Science Sunday. It’s for ages 5 to 11 and it’s bilingual too. The full week costs €350, while a single morning costs €80 per child. Each single morning has its own booking link, listed on the week page.
