Lab coats on, goggles on, and a whole school buzzing with curiosity
Picture your child coming home and explaining exactly how a pulley lifts the impossible. Or pulling a fossil they cast themselves out of their school bag. That’s a normal week at a Junior Einsteins Science Club®.
Since 2012, more than 900,000 Junior Einsteins have built rockets, lifted fingerprints at crime scenes, grown crystals and engineered bridges with us. Every session is fully hands-on and screen-free, with 60 minutes of real science in small groups. Nearly every week, the children bring home something they made.
For parents: bring Junior Einsteins to your school
If your child’s school doesn’t run a Junior Einsteins After School Science Club® yet, you can change that. Plenty of our clubs got started because one parent mentioned us to the principal or the parents’ association.
Just pass on our details, or send us the name of the school, and we’ll look after the rest. We make it easy for the school at every step.
For schools: our After School Science Club®
Our weekly After School Science Club® is where most schools first meet us. We have more than two years of weekly sessions and never repeat a topic, so children come back term after term. Every session is delivered by our trained Junior Einsteins instructors. We look after the equipment, the risk assessments and all the organisation, so your staff have nothing extra to do.
We can also come in during the school day
Many schools also invite us in during school hours. We run a series of weekly visits built around a theme that suits your class, your curriculum or your STEM week. You choose the topic and how many weeks. Here are a few of the series schools enjoy most:
🌍 Sustainability & Climate, a 6-week series Climate Quest, Engineering Clean Water, Harness the Sun (Build Your Own Solar Oven), Wild Wind, Smart Cities and Biomimicry.
🌱 Nature & the Earth, a 12-week series Rock Stars, Freaky Fossils, Crusty Old Earth, Vicious Volcanoes, Storm Watch Lab, Blossoming Beans, Bug Hunt, Muddy Worms, Fantastic Frogs, Life in a Drop, Classification of Life and Biodiversity Bonanza.
🌉 Engineering, a 4-week series Engineering Bridges, Catapult Engineering Lab, Tensegrity and Crazy Shapes.
🤖 Robotics a 6-week series RoboCreators, TechInsect & PropelBot Lab, Pneumatic Power, Pulleys, Zesty Zap & Spud Spark and Mission MedTech 2: Engineering the Human Body.
🫀 The Human Body, an 8-week series Doctor Bones, Pumping Heart, Take a Deep Breath, From Plate to Poop, Brain Olympics, Squelchy Eyeballs, Mission MedTech and Mission MedTech 2.
These are just examples. We also have series on space and flight, light and sound, electricity, forensic science, chemistry, archaeology and more. We can build a series around any theme you have in mind, whether it runs for three weeks or for a full term.
How Junior Einsteins fits your primary school
We cover every area of STEM, and we fit alongside what your school already does:
- Primary science curriculum: practical experiments that bring your science topics to life and strengthen working scientifically.
- Primary STEM provision: design challenges that connect science with engineering, technology, maths and real-world problem-solving.
- ECA and co-curricular activities: clubs, STEM weeks, science shows and holiday camps that extend learning beyond the timetable.
You can book us for one of these, two, or all three. Your school might want a weekly club, a daytime series, a STEM week or a whole-school Science Show. Whichever you choose, the children get the same joyful, hands-on experience.
Every session includes
- All equipment and materials
- Full risk assessments and safety guidance
- Several experiments that build on each other in each 60-minute session
- Something to take home, which gets the whole family talking about science
