It’s our favourite week of the year – Science Week Ireland 2025!
From Sunday 9th to Sunday 16th November, the whole country will come alive with science. Organised by Research Ireland (formerly Science Foundation Ireland), Science Week is a nationwide celebration of discovery, curiosity, and innovation. Across Ireland, schools, businesses, universities, libraries, museums, zoos, theme parks, and adventure centres will host amazing science events to inspire people of all ages. It’s our favourite week of the year – Science Week Ireland 2025!
The theme for 2025 is “Then. Today. Tomorrow.” – a journey through scientific progress, from the breakthroughs of the past to the discoveries shaping our future.
At Junior Einsteins Science Club®, we’re ready for a packed week of hands-on science shows and STEM workshops. Our team will be out and about visiting schools, community groups, and venues across Ireland. We’ll bring our trademark high-energy sessions filled with explosive experiments and laughter – from bubbling foaming elephant toothpaste and rocket races to circuits, magnets, bridge building, periscopes, forensics, slime-making, and even quantum physics made fun.
Everything we do here at Junior Einsteins Science Club® is because we are passionate about bringing STEM to young children in a fun filled high energy way.
We nurture children’s natural curiosity & creativity. We inspire our ‘Junior Einsteins’ to use their imaginations, make a mess, explore and discover in STEM & STEAM areas.
Children wear Lab coats and goggles! LOTS of OUTDOOR Fun !
Through our bespoke science based hands-on, fun events we develop children’s personal confidence and self-esteem.
We teach children ‘How to Think, not What to think ‘ , best preparing them for our ever changing world. We hope our ‘Junior Einsteins’ will build their love of Science in Primary / Elementary School and choose science as a subject in secondary/high school and on to third level. We need more scientists !
Every session is hands-on. Children wear lab coats and goggles, use real scientific equipment, and work together to explore, question, and create. It’s learning by doing – nurturing curiosity, teamwork, creativity, and confidence in every young scientist.
