Soil Erosion and Muddy Worms
The aim of this session is to illustrate the process of soil erosion. Children gain an understanding
of the implications of soil erosion in its surrounding ecosystem. Identify how the presence of
residue on soil & the growth of crops can prevent soil erosion.
Our ‘Junior Einsteins’ learn that Earthworms are good. Children learn that worms eat up organic matter and leave droppings that help plants grow better. They come to understand that worms create water and air channels for plant roots to grow quickly.
‘Junior Einsteins’ explore facts about soil , complete several experiments and create their own wormery to take home.
