Junior Chemists: Luminescent Lava Lamps, Saturday 21 November 2026, 3:30pm to 4:20pm
Vous préférez le français ? Cette séance est aussi animée en français. Cliquez sur le bandeau violet en bas de cette page pour tout lire en français.
Saturday 21 November is Junior Chemists day in Luxembourg City, and Luminescent Lava Lamps is where your child builds something to keep. Your child floats an egg, explores a density column, then makes their own lava lamp to take home. Also, every experiment is explained in both English and French, so your child works in whichever language feels easiest.
- Date: Saturday 21 November 2026, 3:30pm to 4:20pm
- Also running: Elephant’s Toothpaste at 2:30pm and Slimy Slime at 4:30pm. They’re different sessions, and each one is booked separately, so book one, two or all three.
- Ages: 5 to 11
- Venue: The Office Charlotte, 29 Boulevard Grande-Duchesse Charlotte, L-1331 Luxembourg
- Places: limited
- Cost: €30 per child, paid when you book
What your child will do
First comes the Floating Egg, and it’s a puzzle worth watching. The Amazing Density Column comes next, where different liquids settle into layers. Then your child gets to Make Your Own Lava Lamp, and every child takes their own home.
Drop-off, and what we provide
Drop your child off at 3:30pm and collect them at 4:20pm. You don’t need to stay. We provide a lab coat and safety goggles, so there’s nothing to bring. The coat and goggles stay with us when the session ends.
Reserve your place
As soon as you’re ready, reserve your child’s place with the booking button on this page. Places are limited, so it’s best to book early. Got a question? Then email luxembourg@junioreinsteinsscienceclub.com or call +352 621 888 799.
