After School Science Club – Willow Park Junior School – Term 2 from 31st January to 22nd May 2024

Welcome to Junior Einsteins Science Club! This after school science club is only for students attending Willow Park Junior School, Blackrock. After School Science Club

Junior Einsteins Science Club term 2 will run on Wednesdays from 3pm -4pm from 31st January to 22nd May.

Students finishing at 2:20pm & 2:40pm will be supervised until 3pm by our scientists.

Price ; €210       * Bookings are online only and on a first come first served basis

New curriculum of science experiments for term 2 including:

Purple power pH (acids & bases), bath fizzers, pumping heart, Dr Einspine (skeletal system), somewhere over the rainbow (light diffraction), vicious volcanic eruptions, dive deep: Cartesian divers, frog dissection (anatomy & educational models), pneumatic bunnies & Easter egg-speriments, Banana DNA, Take a Deep Breath (Respiratory System), Float Your Boat (Buoyancy), Muddy Worms (Soil Science), Noisy Noise (Sound), Blossoming Beans, Out of this World Solar System, Rocket Races, Rocket Launchers, Sunscreen Science & Bug Hunt.

Children are supplied with lab coats, goggles & all scientific equipment. They make & take home their own experiments including; pH indicators, bath bombs, rainbow glasses, Cartesian diver, banana DNA, galaxy in a bottle, pop rocket, invisible ink & UV light, insect identification key & more!

We are proud of our Award-winning hands- on STEM for kids ! Everything we do here at Junior Einsteins Science Club® is because we are passionate about bringing STEM to young children in a fun filled high energy way.  Our events are very child-centric and all of our children are our ‘Junior Einsteins’ ! We nurture children’s natural curiosity & creativity. We inspire our ‘Junior Einsteins’ to use their imaginations, make a mess, explore and discover. We do this through fantastic interactive experiments from slime making children learn about long chain polymerisation and Non-Newtonian fluids. A Barbie Doll gets a hair raising experience on a Van Der Graaf generator while children learn about voltage and current. Lighting a light sabre with a plasma ball we learn how electricity flows! We inspire our ‘Junior Einsteins to explore a broad range of STEM subjects learning by doing; Fossil making, Forensics, Arctic Animal Adaptations, Classification of Life, Rocket Races, Bug Hunts, Illusions and how cartoons are made, Geology and Volcanoes, Bernoulli’s effect and how planes fly, marine biology, quantum physics using Nerf guns. Microbiology, Chemistry ;  PH Purple Power & Exothermic reactions making elephant’s toothpaste, Magnets, Light, Anatomy ,Engineering , covering STEM & STEAM areas. Learning through tons of fun!
