Claire’s journey is one that seamlessly blends her academic background with her professional experience. A graduate of Dublin City University (D.C.U.), Claire earned a B.Sc. (Hons) in Sport Science and Health, where she achieved a 2.1 degree classification. Her time at D.C.U. was marked by rigorous scientific training, including lab skills that involved VO2 Max fitness assessments, Isokinetic Strength tests, Wingate Tests, and Ultrasound monitoring. Claire’s academic journey didn’t just stop at the classroom; she also completed her INTRA placement at D.C.U.’s School of Health and Human Performance, where she honed her skills in health and fitness research.
A Diverse Professional Background
Before embarking on her current venture, Claire gained extensive experience across various customer-facing roles. Her part-time role at The Health Store allowed her to develop a deep understanding of health choices and nutritional supplements, advising customers on their wellness journeys. Claire also spent time as an Appliances Advisor at DID Electrical, where her role required not just technical knowledge of products but also the interpersonal skills needed to match the right appliance to each customer’s needs.
Her management role at Educo Health Stores Ltd. provided her with a strong foundation in business operations. This experience of managing a store, combined with her scientific background, gave Claire the perfect blend of skills to run her own STEM education for kids franchise in Kildare successfully.

Since taking on the franchise, Claire has been a beacon of inspiration for young children in Kildare. Her approach to STEM education is both interactive and exciting, making complex scientific concepts accessible and enjoyable for primary school children. Outside of her professional life, Claire is a dedicated athlete with a love for swimming, cross-country running, and various physical activities. She has even competed nationally in cross-country running, demonstrating the same determination and drive that she brings to her work. With Kickstart 1 and 2 Association Football Coaching Qualifications, Claire’s passion for sport and fitness complements her educational initiatives, as she understands the importance of a well-rounded development for children.
In her free time, Claire also enjoys reading, painting, and exploring new interests, showcasing her wide range of hobbies that keep her energised and inspired.
