Science Week Ireland November 2025

Science Week Ireland runs from Sunday 9th November to Sunday 16th November 2025. This national, week-long celebration of science and technology is organised by Science Foundation Ireland now Research Ireland and takes place across the country. It brings science to life through festivals, workshops, talks, and exhibitions. The aim is to inspire curiosity, spark conversation, and highlight the role of STEM in society. Junior Einsteins Science Club® can  visit schools, venues, and community groups with our high-energy science shows and STEM workshops. We bring a huge variety of exciting hands-on topics including slime-making, bubbling foaming elephant toothpaste, rocket races, catapults, pulleys, circuits, magnets, periscopes, bridge building, engineering challenges, forensics, invisible ink, fossil making, biodiversity, biomimicry, classification of life, bugs and minibeasts, robotics, climate quest, maths and crazy shapes, sound and vibrations, static electricity, plasma balls, Van der Graaf generator hair-raising, smoke cannons, light and colour, gravity and gyroscopes, space science, Junior Medics, and even quantum physics made fun. Children work in groups wearing lab coats and goggles, using real scientific equipment, learning leadership, teamwork, problem solving, creativity, and critical questioning while having a lot of fun.
