On Saturday, 25 July 2026, Junior Einsteins Science Club® launches in Luxembourg with a free family science event at Laborartorium in Livange.Science, Slime and Sparks: Luxembourg Is About to Meet Its ‘Junior Einsteins’!
There is something powerful about the moment a child realises that science is not simply a school subject. It is the mystery in a glowing plasma ball, the surprising texture of slime, the rush of a rocket race, and the delight of asking, “What happens if…?”
That is the spirit behind the Grand Launch of Junior Einsteins Science Club® in Luxembourg. On Saturday, 25 July, we will welcome families from across the country for a day of hands-on STEM exploration, creative energy and memorable scientific discovery.
The launch will take place at Laborartorium, 24 Rue Geespelt, 3378 Livange—a brilliant setting for an event centred on curiosity. With its own playful focus on nature, the universe and family adventure, Junior Einsteins at Laborartorium provides a natural home for young explorers to learn by doing.
A day designed to make science unforgettable
At Junior Einsteins, we believe children learn best when they are actively involved. Our Junior Einsteins do not just hear about science; they get to investigate it, test it, make a mess, ask questions and see ideas come to life.
The programme brings together some of our most popular science experiences. Children will meet the strange and wonderful world of non-Newtonian fluids and polymers at 10:00 am in “Oobleck: Punch the Slime!”. At 10:45 am, they will see static electricity, voltage and current at work during “Sparks Will Fly!”, featuring a Van de Graaff generator and a lightsaber-lighting plasma-ball demonstration. Following that, the 11:30 am “Bernoulli’s Flying Machines” session will help them discover the forces and airflow behind flight.
The afternoon continues at 12:20 pm with the gloriously messy “SLIMEY SLIME: The Science Gets Messy”, before moving into spectacular, colourful chemistry at 1:30 pm with the “Elephant’s Toothpaste: Explosive Reactions Lab”. At 2:20 pm, the “Bath Fizzers Science Lab” brings fizzing reactions and creative chemistry. The day concludes from 3:15 pm to 4:00 pm with the “Junior Einsteins Science Club® Famous Science Show”—a high-energy finale designed to leave young scientists inspired long after the final experiment.
More than a science event
The Luxembourg launch is an invitation for children aged 4 to 12 to discover the joy of STEM in a way that feels exciting, accessible and entirely their own. At Junior Einsteins Science Club®, our mission is simple: to nurture children’s natural curiosity and creativity, and to help them develop confidence as independent thinkers.
We teach children how to think, not what to think. Through experiments, questions and play, we encourage them to use their imaginations, take positive risks and make discoveries for themselves. From physics, chemistry and engineering to biology, fossils, forensics, rockets, anatomy, magnets and light, every Junior Einsteins experience is designed to turn “Why?” into “Let’s find out.”
We hope this early excitement helps build a lifelong love of science—one that follows children through primary school, into their future studies and, perhaps, into the next generation of scientists, engineers, innovators and problem-solvers.
