What inspired Anna to become a Junior Einsteins franchisee?

Anna’s love for STEM began in her early years, but life circumstances meant she wasn’t able to pursue science at high school or university levels. “When I first heard of Junior Einsteins Science Club and heard Tracey Jane Founder and CEO of Junior Einsteins Science Club  talking so passionately about the events, I realised this was what I wanted to do—my dream job,” Anna shared.

For Anna, becoming a Junior Einsteins franchisee was a chance to reignite her childhood passion for STEM and share it with the next generation. “I finally found my place in life,” she added. “To show kids how much fun science is, to educate them, and to give them a chance I never had.”

What does Anna love most about hosting Junior Einsteins Science Club events?

“This is an easy one!” Anna exclaimed. “Working with children, showing them something extraordinary, contributing to their thinking development—all with laughter and excitement.”

Anna especially enjoys hosting science birthday parties, where the birthday child becomes the star scientist of the day. “The birthday child is so proud to be the helper, the one doing the experiment. It’s such an empowering moment for them,” she explained.

The impact of Junior Einsteins events on children and families

One of the most rewarding aspects of Anna’s work is seeing the lasting impact Junior Einsteins Science Club events have on children and their families. She recalls parents telling her how their children find a sense of belonging at Junior Einsteins events.

“Sometimes, kids struggle to fit in with other groups, but when they come to the club and meet like-minded peers, everything changes,” Anna said. “It’s wonderful to see them find a place to belong.”

Even after the events, the impact is clear. “Parents tell me that their children won’t stop asking follow-up questions about what we talked about. That curiosity shows how important our work is—to encourage children to understand the world around them in their own way.”

Why Anna recommends Junior Einsteins Science Club events to parents

For Anna, Junior Einsteins events are unique because they combine fun with impactful learning. “The wow effect of an experiment and the profound change in a child’s understanding of the world is so obvious,” Anna explained.

“Children realise that asking questions is super exciting and that finding the answers is even more so. And it’s not just the kids—so often the parents are just as amazed as their children!”
