Founder’s Recognition: The founder, Tracey-Jane Cassidy, was named Winner STEM Woman of the Year Award 2023  Judges Impact Award in Ireland, a testament to her outstanding commitment and dedication to advancing science education

Outstanding STEM Education Events: The business continues to bring STEM education to young children through a variety of engaging and interactive events, including after-school clubs, science parties, and summer camps. RTE junior’s KidCast ; Our ‘Junior Einsteins’ were thrilled to be a part of RTE junior’s KidCast Podcast, where they had the opportunity to share their thoughts on time travel, getting to Mars, and even demonstrated a fun science experiment to try at home The KidCast podcast is designed to put kids front and centre, presenting, reporting, interviewing guests, telling jokes, riddles, and facts, providing an entertaining and engaging experience for young listeners By participating in this podcast, our Junior Einsteins showcased their enthusiasm for STEM and inspired other children to explore the wonders of science. This collaboration not only helped to promote STEM education but also provided our young scientists with valuable experience in communication and public speaking, further fostering their love for science and preparing them for future STEM careers.

Reaching Girls in STEM; Junior Einsteins Science Club is committed to empowering girls in STEM education. We recognise the importance of encouraging young girls to explore STEM fields and providing them with the necessary tools and resources to succeed. By exposing young girls to STEM fields and encouraging their participation in special programs, we can help break down gender barriers and promote equality in STEM. Additionally, we strive to introduce female role models to inspire young girls to pursue STEM careers We believe that empowering girls in STEM is crucial for creating a more diverse and inclusive workforce, driving innovation, and solving global challenges.

Starting young; By engaging children at the primary school age, Junior Einsteins Science Club is actively contributing to addressing the issue of the underrepresentation of people, especially girls, in STEM careers. Irish Franchise Awards 2023: Junior Einsteins Science Club was shortlisted as a finalist for three prestigious awards at the Irish Franchise Awards 2023, including “Best Education Franchise,” “Best Service Franchise,” and “Leadership in Franchising.”

New Science Club Sessions; In 2023, Junior Einsteins Science Club was excited to introduce a diverse range of new and exciting science club sessions, reflecting our ongoing commitment to providing innovative STEM experiences for children. These sessions will cover a wide array of fascinating topics, including biomimicry, biodiversity, robotics, geology, junior astronaut training, and even a bioluminescence session. The addition of these engaging sessions demonstrates our dedication to offering hands-on, immersive learning experiences that spark curiosity and inspire a love for science. We have been working tirelessly to develop these enriching opportunities, and we are thrilled to bring them to our ‘Junior Einsteins’  in the upcoming year.
National Science Week Ireland (November 2023): The club reached thousands of children across Ireland during Science Week, providing hands-on science shows and workshops that sparked curiosity and inspired a love for learning

British Science Week (March 2023): Junior Einsteins Science Club also participated in British Science Week, further expanding its reach and impact on young minds

Summer Camps: The club is set to run summer camps across Ireland and the UK in 2024, offering 100’s of science camps in various locations, including in the UK Birmingham & North West London and in Ireland Dublin, Wicklow, Kildare, Meath, Westmeath, Wexford, Carlow, Kilkenny, and Waterford

BT Young Scientist and Technology Exhibition: In January 2024, Junior Einsteins Science Club will be participating in the world famous BT Young Scientist and Technology Exhibition, showcasing their commitment to inspiring the next generation of scientists. The Dublin franchisee, James, will be present at the exhibition, representing the club and its innovative approach to STEM education.
