RTE junior’s KidCast ; Our ‘Junior Einsteins’ were thrilled to be a part of RTE junior’s KidCast Podcast, where they had the opportunity to share their thoughts on time travel, getting to Mars, and even demonstrated a fun science experiment to try at home The KidCast podcast is designed to put kids front and centre, presenting, reporting, interviewing guests, telling jokes, riddles, and facts, providing an entertaining and engaging experience for young listeners By participating in this podcast, our Junior Einsteins showcased their enthusiasm for STEM and inspired other children to explore the wonders of science. This collaboration not only helped to promote STEM education but also provided our young scientists with valuable experience in communication and public speaking, further fostering their love for science and preparing them for future STEM careers.
Reaching Girls in STEM; Junior Einsteins Science Club is committed to empowering girls in STEM education. We recognise the importance of encouraging young girls to explore STEM fields and providing them with the necessary tools and resources to succeed. By exposing young girls to STEM fields and encouraging their participation in special programs, we can help break down gender barriers and promote equality in STEM. Additionally, we strive to introduce female role models to inspire young girls to pursue STEM careers We believe that empowering girls in STEM is crucial for creating a more diverse and inclusive workforce, driving innovation, and solving global challenges.
Starting young; By engaging children at the primary school age, Junior Einsteins Science Club is actively contributing to addressing the issue of the underrepresentation of people, especially girls, in STEM careers. Summer Camps: The club is set to run summer camps across Ireland and the UK in 2024, offering 100’s of science camps in various locations, including in the UK Birmingham & North West London and in Ireland Dublin, Wicklow, Kildare, Meath, Westmeath, Wexford, Carlow, Kilkenny, and Waterford
BT Young Scientist and Technology Exhibition: In January 2024, Junior Einsteins Science Club will be participating in the world famous BT Young Scientist and Technology Exhibition, showcasing their commitment to inspiring the next generation of scientists. The Dublin franchisee, James, will be present at the exhibition, representing the club and its innovative approach to STEM education.
