Welcome to Junior Einsteins Science Club!
This after school science club is only for students attending St Matthew’s NS, Cranfield Place, Dublin 4.
Junior Einsteins Science Club term 2 will run on Thursdays 2:10pm -3:10pm for 1st to 6th class students.
Term 2 Dates: Thursday 8th January to Thursday 26th March 2026 (11 week term)
Price: €149 per child ( * Bookings are online only and on a first come first served basis)
Award-winning hands on science club program. Children are supplied with lab coats, goggles & all scientific equipment. They make & take home their own experiments from science club.
Term 2 curriculum of science experiments include (in order by week);
- Palaeontology – fossil making
- Optical Illusions: how the eye tricks the brain
- Acids & bases: rocket races
- pH red cabbage indicators
- Dr Einspine: human skeleton & x-raying
- Gross digestion: plate to poop!
- Boat buoyancy: water surface tension & bouyancy
- Newtons colour wheel
- Light diffraction: how rainbows are formed
- Pneumatic bunnies
- Egg engineering: walking on eggs & the egg drop challenge!
