- Cost: a one time €50 registration fee, then one of three plans:
- One term, paid monthly: €190 per month
- One term, paid upfront: €720 for the Autumn term
- The full school year: €180 per month for 10 months, with July free

- Group size: Maximum 15 children per session
- Language: sessions are delivered in English and in French. Our instructor works in French with the French speaking children, in the same group, so your child learns science in the language they are most comfortable in.
A real science curriculum, every single week
This is a curriculum based after school science programme. It is not a random mix of activities. Each week builds on the last, so your child grows real science skills across the whole school year. The club meets once a week, on Thursdays only, and runs only during Luxembourg public school weeks. There are no sessions during school holidays.
Our venue: Laborartorium, Livange
We run our after school club at Laborartorium, the science and nature experience gallery in Livange and the home of our Luxembourg launch. It is the perfect setting for hands-on discovery: a whole world built around nature, the universe and curiosity, with easy parking and quick access from the A3.

What will your child do?
Every week your child will put on a lab coat and safety goggles and dive into hands-on experiments from our award winning science club curriculum. This year’s programme includes Engineering Bridges, Rocket Races, Blubber Gloves, Lava Lamps, Crusty Old Earth, Out of This World (the Solar System), Wild Wind & Walk on Water, Marvellous Magical Maths, Somewhere Over the Rainbow, Pigments of Imagination and lots more hands-on science experiments covering all STEM subjects.
Your child gets their own lab coat and safety goggles, included in the registration fee. All scientific equipment and materials are provided for every session. Groups are small, with a maximum of 15 children, so every child gets stuck in.
How the payments work
Every family pays a one time registration fee of €50 when they book on this page. It secures your child’s place and it includes your child’s own lab coat and safety goggles, which are theirs to keep. Once you have booked we will contact you to set up the rest.
You then choose how you would like to pay. The longer you sign up for, the less you pay each month.
- The full school year: you pay €180 per month for 10 months, from September to June. July is free. Your child gets the whole school year of science, and the total for the year is €1,850 including your registration fee. This is the plan most families choose.
- One term, paid upfront: you pay for a full term in one go at the €180 monthly rate. That is €720 for the Autumn term, €720 for the Spring term and €540 for the Summer term.
- One term, paid monthly: you pay €190 per month and you sign up one term at a time. This is our most flexible plan.
Our terms run from September to December, from January to April, and from May to July. Monthly payments are due on the 10th of each month.
Signing up for the full school year saves you €290 compared with paying monthly one term at a time. It works out at around €50 for each two hour session, with your child’s lab coat, goggles and all the equipment included.
Brothers and sisters
Have more than one child? Every extra child gets 10% off their fees. On the full school year plan a second child pays €162 per month instead of €180, so two children come to €3,520 for the year instead of €3,700. The €50 registration stays the same for each child, because it buys that child their own lab coat and safety goggles to keep.
Before you book
Here are a few things to know. Your €50 registration fee is not refundable. A term you have paid upfront is not refundable either. We do not reduce fees for sessions your child misses, because your child’s place is held for them all year.
