Mullingar Mid Term Science Camp – 25th February (9am – 1pm)

PLEASE NOTE:

Social distancing of 2 metres, PPE & pods for each event in strict adherence to public health guidelines. All scientific equipment & materials are sanitised before, during & after our events, including lab coats & safety goggles. Infection control specialist & Covid 19 Compliance Officer assigned to each event.

Venue & Time: Walshestown Community Centre, Mullingar from 9am – 1pm.

Price: €50 per child

Slime science: long chain polymerisation & non Newtonian fluids, light the lightsaber, Barbie gets a hair raising experience on our university grade Van Der Graaf generator, static electricity, magical glow sticks, closed circuit circles, hand boilers, giant smoke cannons, coke & mentos explosion, blossoming beans, the Bernoulli effect: how planes fly – lets build a flying model glider!

Children are supplied with their own lab coat, goggles & gloves. They make & take home their own slime, airplane glider & blossoming beans!
