Mullingar 3 week science club – Starts 11th March (Fridays 6pm -8pm)

3 week science club at Walshestown Community Centre, Mullingar. Suitable for children from 5 – 12 years old.

Children are grouped by age: 5-8 year olds (ATOMS) & 9-12 year olds (MOLECULES) to ensure age appropriate learning. Siblings & pods sit together. Spaces limited with reduced capacity.

Dates: 11th March – 25th March (every Friday)

Times: 6pm – 8pm

Venue: Walshestown Community Centre, Ballynacarrigy Road, Mullingar.

Price: €65 for 3 weeks (starts from 11th March)

Paleontology & geology: crystallisation, bug hunt, blossoming beans, quantum physics using Nerf guns, the greenhouse gas effect, pneumatic bunnies,  gross digestion, freaky forensics: crime scene investigation, long chain polymers & lots of hands on, fun experiments. Children are supplied with lab coats, goggles & all scientific equipment to participate in all science experiments & activities. They make & take home their own experiments.
