Junior Biology Camp: Ecology, Nature & The Environment – Mullingar (22nd May 10am -1pm)

Join us at Gaelscoil an Choillin, Mullingar on Sunday 22nd May from 10am -1pm for our Junior Biology Camp!

Suited for primary school children from 5 years old & above. €35 per child.

Frog dissection, the frog life cycle, entomology: bug hunt scavenge, virtual forest adventure to learn about animal science (residents of the forest: red squirrels, Sika deer & the Irish red fox), taxonomy: the classification of life! reptiles, mammals & amphibians, muddy worms soil science. Junior Einsteins will take on an outdoor bug hunt using pooters & magnifying glasses while dressing up as mini explorers!, use insect keys to identify insects, dissect a frog, virtual birds eye view of the forest- animal science, gain an understanding of how living things are classified through hands on grouping activities & experiments,  & take home their very own Junior Einsteins: My Little Nature Journal booklet! 

Children are supplied with all equipment, including lab coats, pooters & journals. Limited spaces. Early bookings recommended.
