Ever wondered what your child could discover in just two hours? Bring them to a free science taster at Laborartorium and find out, with no cost and no obligation to join anything after. It’s a real, hands-on science session, not a demo, and it’s completely free.
- Date: Tuesday 29 September 2026, 2pm to 4pm
- Also running: Thursday 1 October 2026, 2pm to 4pm. It’s the same session on both days, so you only need to book one.
- Ages: 5 to 11
- Venue: Laborartorium, 24 Rue Geespelt, 3378 Livange, Luxembourg
- Places: limited, and held on a first come, first served basis
- Cost: free, with no fee and no obligation
What your child will do
Your child gets straight into hands-on experiments, not sitting and watching from the side. They’ll work in a small group, ask questions, and make a bit of a mess along the way. That’s two full hours of real, hands-on science.
Bilingual, by design
Every session runs in English and French. We explain each experiment in both languages. Our instructor also works in French with children who feel more at home there, right in the same group. Your child does science in whichever language suits them best.
What to bring
Bring a water bottle and clothes that can get a little messy.
We’ll provide a lab coat and safety goggles for your child to wear during the taster, so there’s nothing extra to bring. They stay at Laborartorium when the session ends. If your child later joins the after-school club, a one-time €50 registration fee gets them their own lab coat and goggles to keep.
After the taster
If your child loves it, the autumn term follows straight on: 10 sessions running Tuesday 6 October to 15 December 2026. Families can join for a 5-session block at 275 euro, or take all 10 sessions for 500 euro. There’s also a one-off 50 euro registration fee, which gives your child their own lab coat and goggles to keep. None of that applies today, though. The taster itself stays completely free, with no fee of any kind.
