Athlone 5 Week Science Club – From 8th March (Tuesdays 4pm -6pm)

5 week science club at Future Learning Language School, Deerpark Road, Athlone from 8th March. Suitable for children from 5 – 12 years old.

Children are grouped by age: 5-8 year olds (ATOMS) & 9-12 year olds (MOLECULES) to ensure age appropriate learning. Siblings & pods sit together. Spaces limited with reduced capacity.

Dates: 8th March – 5th April (every Tuesday)

Times: 4pm -6pm (drop off from 3:50pm & collection from 6pm)

Venue: The Tech Room, Future Learning Campus (formerly St Aloysius College)

Price: €90 per child

Paleontology & geology: crystallisation, bug hunt, blossoming beans, the greenhouse gas effect, pneumatic bunnies, pumping heart, gross digestion, freaky forensics: crime scene investigation, long chain polymers & lots of hands on, fun experiments. Children are supplied with lab coats, goggles & all scientific equipment to participate in all science experiments & activities. They make & take home their own experiments.
