Welcome to Junior Einstein’s Science Club! *This after school club is only open to the students of St Patricks NS, Harbour Road, Dalkey. After School Science Club – St Patricks National School Dalkey – 8th January to 11th March 2024

Junior Einsteins Science Club will run on Mondays from 1pm -2pm.

8 week term from Monday 8th  January to 11th March (No class on bank holiday 5th February & midterm break 12th February)

New term of science club experiments for term 3;

Hands on science experiments hosted by our team of scientists! Experiments include:

Junior Medics & Anatomy; my anatomy in 3D, xraying, Dr Einspine, plate to poop: gross digestion, pumping heart, somewhere over the rainbow: light diffraction, dive deep, purple power pH, frog dissection (educational models), pneumatic bunnies (engineering), Easter egg-speriments!

Children are supplied with lab coats & goggles. They make & take home their own experiments from science club.

Passionate about STEM Education;

Everything we do here at Junior Einsteins Science Club Science Camps for children is because we are passionate about bringing STEM to young children in a fun filled high energy way.  Our Summer Camps  are very child-centric and all of our children are our ‘Junior Einsteins’ !

Inspiring Imaginations;

We nurture children’s natural curiosity & creativity. We inspire our ‘Junior Einsteins’ to use their imaginations, make a mess, explore and discover.

Fantastic Experiments;

We do this through fantastic interactive experiments from Slimy Slime where children learn about long chain polymerisation and Non-Newtonian fluids. A Barbie Doll gets a hair raising experience on a Van Der Graaf generator while children learn about voltage and current. Lighting a light sabre with a plasma ball we learn how electricity flows! We inspire our ‘Junior Einsteins to explore a broad range of STEM subjects learning by doing; Fossil making, Forensics, Arctic Animal Adaptations, Classification of Life, Rocket Races, Bug Hunts, Illusions and how cartoons are made, Geology and Volcanoes,  Bernoulli’s effect and how planes fly, marine biology, quantum physics using Nerf guns.  Chemistry ;  PH Purple Power & Exothermic reactions making elephant’s toothpaste, coke & Mentos Geysers, Magnets, Light, Anatomy ,Giant Smoke Cannons, Engineering , covering STEM & STEAM areas. Making Learning Fun;

Learning through tons of fun at our STEM Camps for kids! Children wear Lab coats and goggles! STEM and STEAM activities. LOTS of OUTDOOR Fun !
