Celebrating Women in STEM: Our Founder Tracey-Jane Cassidy Recognised at the Women in STEM Awards 2024

We are delighted to announce that our Founder and CEO, Tracey-Jane Cassidy, has been named a finalist in three esteemed categories at the Women in STEM Awards 2024: STEM Woman of the Year, STEM Role Model of the Year, and STEM Mentor of the Year. This recognition follows her remarkable achievement last year, where she was honoured with the STEM Woman of the Year Judges’ Impact Award in 2023.

With over 10 years of experience in children’s STEM education, Tracey-Jane leads Junior Einsteins Science Club® with a mission to inspire a lifelong love of learning in children. Her passion for igniting curiosity, creativity, and imagination in young minds is at the core of Junior Einsteins’ award-winning, high-energy STEM events. These events have reached thousands of children globally, thanks to the international success of the franchise and its impactful collaborations, including outreach with the United Nations.

As the CEO, Tracey-Jane Cassidy oversees a global team of STEM education experts and franchise owner-operators in Ireland, the UK, and Canada, working collaboratively to deliver exceptional STEM experiences to children. Her leadership has been instrumental in overcoming challenges, seizing opportunities, and fostering a thriving community of franchisees. Their success is key to the overall success of the Junior Einsteins franchise system, and Tracey-Jane is dedicated to supporting them at every step.

In addition to her work with Junior Einsteins, Tracey-Jane is proud to have been a speaker at the United Nations ‘International Women and Girls in Science Day’ in New York in February 2020, in collaboration with RASIT and The United Nations. Through these global efforts, she continues to expand the reach of STEM education to children worldwide.

Tracey-Jane’s commitment to excellence has been recognised with numerous accolades, including winning first prize at the International VOOM 2018 Richard Branson Virgin Media Business Awards. Her academic background is equally impressive, with a Master’s Degree in Natural Science (Botany) from Trinity College Dublin, an MSc in Medical Microbiology from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, and a certificate in Negotiation Mastery from Harvard Business School.
