Celebrating Science with Science Camp for Primary School Kids in Luxembourg
Slime, rockets and explosive experiments are coming to Luxembourg as the award-winning Junior Einsteins Science Club launches its first Science Summer Camp in Livange. Celebrating Science with Science Camp for Primary School Kids in Luxembourg
There is a new way for children to experience science in Luxembourg, and it is energetic, surprising, wonderfully messy and completely hands-on.
The award-winning Junior Einsteins Science Club® has arrived in Luxembourg, bringing its much-loved approach to primary science education to local families. To celebrate, we are launching our first Luxembourg Science Summer Camp from Monday 24 August to Friday 28 August 2026 at Laborartorium in Livange.
Venue: Laborartorium, 24 Rue Geespelt, 3378 Livange Roeser, Luxemburg (the same venue as our Luxembourg launch)
Dates & Times: Monday 24th to Friday 28th August (9am-1pm daily)
Cost: €250 – special introductory offer for our first Luxembourg summer camp!
Age Groups: Suitable for 5-11 year olds; grouped by age (5-8 year olds ATOMS & 9-11 year olds MOLECULES).
Language: Camp is delivered in English.
This is no ordinary holiday camp. Junior Einsteins is famous for delivering high-energy, inquiry-based science experiences without screens. Rather than simply hearing about scientific ideas or watching someone else perform an experiment, children explore science for themselves. They ask questions, make predictions, test materials, build working models, observe unexpected reactions and discover why things happen.
In other words, children do not just learn science. They become scientists.
Children are naturally curious. They want to know why volcanoes erupt, how aeroplanes stay in the sky, what makes slime stretch, how the heart pumps blood and whether they can build a bridge strong enough to meet a challenge.
At Junior Einsteins, we turn that natural curiosity into an unforgettable adventure.
Throughout the camp, every child will wear a lab coat and safety goggles and take part in four hands-on experiments each day. The sessions are active, engaging and carefully designed for primary-school-aged children. Scientific ideas are introduced through exciting challenges that encourage experimentation, problem-solving, teamwork and creative thinking.
Our approach is inquiry-based, which means children are encouraged to investigate rather than simply being given the answer. They learn that science is not about memorising facts. It is about being curious, looking closely, trying ideas, seeing what happens and having the confidence to try again.
Most importantly, the entire experience is screen-free. There are no apps, videos or passive scrolling. Instead, there is real equipment, real teamwork, real excitement and the thrill of making a discovery for yourself.
Across five fun-packed mornings, our Junior Einsteins will explore an extraordinary range of STEM topics.
Every day follows a fun, child-friendly rhythm, with four experiments and breaks for a snack and packed lunch. Lab coats and safety goggles are provided.
The camp is suitable for children aged 5 to 11. Participants will be grouped by age as Atoms for children aged 5 to 8 and Molecules for children aged 9 to 11, allowing activities to be presented at an appropriate level. The camp will be delivered in English, and children do not need any previous science experience. They only need curiosity, enthusiasm and clothes that can cope with a little scientific mess.
Our first Luxembourg summer camp will take place at Laborartorium, the science and nature experience gallery in Livange and the home of our Luxembourg launch. With a whole world built around nature, the universe and curiosity, Laborartorium is the perfect setting for a week of discovery. The venue also offers easy parking and convenient access from the A3.
The camp runs from Monday 24 August to Friday 28 August 2026, from 9.00 a.m. until 1.00 p.m. each day. The venue is Laborartorium, 24 Rue Geespelt, 3378 Livange Roeser, Luxembourg. Children should bring a packed lunch, a snack, a water bottle and clothes that can get a little messy.
The best learning happens when children are so engaged that they do not realise how much they are learning. At Junior Einsteins Science Club® Luxembourg, an erupting experiment can introduce chemical reactions. A flying glider can reveal the physics of air pressure. A homemade windmill can become a lesson in engineering. A rocket race can inspire the next generation of scientists and inventors.
This camp gives children the chance to spend a week questioning, experimenting, building, laughing and discovering, away from screens and surrounded by other curious young minds.
To celebrate our first Luxembourg summer camp, places are available at a special introductory price of €250, reduced from €350. With only 15 places available, early booking is strongly recommended.
