Tracey-Jane Cassidy MA MSc Celebrating Double Recognition at the Business Post Women in STEM Awards 2025
Tracey Jane was deeply honoured to be shortlisted for two categories at the Business Post Women in STEM Summit & Awards 2025 – Science and STEM Mentor of the Year. To be recognised alongside Ireland’s most inspiring scientists, educators, and innovators is both humbling and energising.Celebrating Double Recognition at the Business Post Women in STEM Awards 2025
The STEM Mentor of the Year shortlist holds special meaning for me. Mentorship is at the heart of everything I do, from guiding new Junior Einsteins franchise owners and licience holders, international schools to helping teachers and young women and girls step into STEM leadership roles with confidence. I’ve been lucky to have incredible mentors throughout my own career, and I take real joy in paying that forward.
The Science category nomination celebrates the innovative educational work that underpins our programmes. Science isn’t a subject to be memorised, it’s an adventure to be lived. Every slime made, rocket launched, or circuit built reminds me that education can and should be thrilling.

Proud members of the British Franchise Association
We are proud members of the British Franchise Association, and we see BFA membership as a serious standard, not a badge for show. The BFA membership process reviews your business model and supports you to meet the standards aligned with the European Code of Ethics for Franchising, with a focus on viability, transferability, disclosure, and ethical practice. As members, we can use the relevant BFA logo to show our commitment to ethical, standards based franchising, and our full franchisee network can access franchisee membership benefits and networking opportunities through the BFA. We also value the practical support and representation that comes with membership, including access to the BFA team, peer networking, education through the BFA Academy, and wider representation through links with bodies like the European Franchise Federation and the World Franchise Council as we expand.
“One of our focus areas in 2024 is the recruitment of children to STEM, and this is why we want to learn more about your work with inspiring kids to STEM to inspire our own work”– Ingrid E. Skistad , Tekna Norway
We love seeing our work recognised by scientists and STEM leaders internationally, and we are proud to share what we have learned about getting children excited about science through high energy, practical, hands on experiences.
