How Brooke House College Riyadh and Junior Einsteins Science Club® are shaping the future of hands-on primary STEM Education in Saudi Arabia

Brooke House College Riyadh and Junior Einsteins Science Club® have been working side by side in Saudi Arabia, and it already feels like a collaboration with real momentum. When we first began discussing the possibility of bringing hands-on science into the school, the shared intention was clear. We wanted to give young children the chance to experience real science in a way that feels exciting, playful, and grounded in curiosity. The approach was never about worksheets or theory in isolation. It was about inviting pupils to roll up their sleeves, test ideas, ask questions, and discover how science works through real action and experimentation Brooke House College Riyadh  How Brooke House College Riyadh and Junior Einsteins Science Club® are shaping the future of hands-on primary STEM Education in Saudi Arabia

The reaction from pupils, teachers, and parents has been remarkable. Children now arrive ready to discover what new challenge or experiment is waiting for them and they step into the role of scientist with visible confidence. Lab coats and goggles go on, questions start flowing, and you can see the shift in how they view themselves. They explore, investigate, make mistakes, and try again and that mindset shift is where deep learning lives.

Brooke House College deserves real credit for embracing this approach so early and so wholeheartedly. The leadership team made a conscious decision to be ahead of the curve rather than waiting to see what others might do. That willingness to back something bold is already positioning the school as one of the most forward-thinking STEM education leaders within the SIC network in Saudi Arabia. They recognise that scientific thinking is not something that begins in secondary school but something that flourishes in children from the moment they are given the opportunity.

For us, this collaboration has never felt transactional. It is a genuine partnership rooted in shared belief and trust. Junior Einsteins Science Club Ltd. ® brings experience, training, and high-energy programming but Brooke House College brings culture, commitment, and a deep passion for unlocking the potential of young learners. Together, that combination is proving powerful.

Our work at Brooke House College Riyadh sits comfortably within the school’s broader teaching philosophy. The programme is built on integrated, inquiry-led and problem-based learning where children meet ideas that connect across STEM subjects. Pupils explore open questions, test claims, and build solutions with real evidence which means critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, communication grow naturally. Sessions reflect real life and real careers, showing how science links with technology, engineering, maths and everyday decisions in the wider world. We help children see themselves as makers and solvers. A big part of this partnership is also supporting the adults in the room, offering professional learning so teachers and instructors feel confident leading high quality STEM experiences that go beyond theory and into practice.

The most exciting part is that we are only getting started. There are new experiments, expanded themes, and broader visibility planned across SIC schools and the wider community in Saudi Arabia. Our hope is that more children will grow up believing science is something they can take part in, shape, and enjoy.

If other international schools across the region are curious about what Junior Einsteins hands-on STEM can do for their pupils, culture, and reputation, we are always happy to share our experience. Brooke House College has taken a leadership role in this space and we are proud to be on the journey with them as they continue to build something special for their pupils and families.
