We explain to children all about the different ‘germs’ in a comforting and honest way. We calmly and reassuringly teach children facts in an interesting and engaging way. Children learn about bacteria, viruses, fungi, and protozoa. and how they can invade plants, animals, and people, and sometimes they can make us sick.

Designed by our founder Tracey Jane Cassidy who has a Masters Degree in Medical Microbiology form The London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine and also a Mum of three children these workshops are enjoyable and educational as well as timely.

We as science instructors tell the children specific things they can do to feel in control. We teach kids that washing their hands well and often can help them stay well. We explain that regular hand washing also helps stop viruses from spreading to others.

We talk about everything people are doing to keep people safe and healthy. Young kids might be reassured to know that hospitals and doctors are experts and ready to treat people who get sick. Older kids might be comforted to know that scientists are working to develop a vaccine. These talks also prepare kids for changes in their normal routine if schools or childcare centres that may close in the future.
