Bug Hunt & Blossoming Beans

While guided, children will explore the vast range of insects up close and learn interesting facts about the insects they find and their anatomy. This is a fun, outdoor social activity which sparks their interest in science.

Through observation and manipulation, children will discover what is inside a seed and how it relates to a grown plant. Children will be able to identify different parts of a plant and define their functions. Students will understand the importance that plants play in our everyday lives. Children will familiarise themselves with germination and will be able to successfully grow their own take-home plant from seeds.
