Mothers Day Science, Maynooth University, 27th March, 10am-3pm

DNA Science; children will learn about the structure of DNA and some basics about base pairs. They will learn a little about heredity and do a hands-on experiment to extract DNA from a banana!

Mad Magnets! Children will learn about magnetic forces, about attraction and repulsion, how a compass works due to the Earth bring a giant magnet! Through hands on fun experiments they will discover which objects are magnetic and play fun games using magnets.

Children will learn a little about the science of pH and make take-home bath Fizzers, one for Mum and one for them !

All children will have lots of fun and do Party Experiments!
