During this Junior Medics Camp, children will do and make hands-on Science experiments that will be energetically thrilling and memorable; 

Join us for an immersive Junior Medics camp, a full day of exploration where children will dive into the amazing systems of the body and the science of perception:

• Dr. Bones: Discover the secrets of the skeletal system. Kids will learn about what bones are made of, how they function, and explore real X-rays to understand the critical role our skeleton plays in keeping us upright and protected.
• From Plate to Poop: Take a journey through the human digestive system! Children will learn how food is broken down and absorbed, understanding the fascinating process that turns meals into energy.
• Pumping Heart: Explore how the heart works to pump blood through our bodies. Kids will discover the importance of the circulatory system and how it delivers oxygen and nutrients, keeping us alive and active.
• Take a Deep Breath: Dive into the respiratory system, learning how our lungs take in oxygen and how our bodies use it to produce energy. This session makes the science of breathing fun and easy to understand.
• Cartoon Capers: Trick your brain and eyes with optical illusions! Children will explore how perception works, learning how the brain interprets images and why we sometimes see things that aren’t really there. From making their own thaumatropes to playing with the Zoetrope, this session will show kids the science behind some of their favorite visual tricks.

This workshop combines hands-on activities and mind-bending illusions to make learning about the human body and perception an unforgettable experience for young scientists!

Suitable for 6-12 year old children. Children are provided with Scientist lab Coats and Goggles at every Science Camp!
