After-School Science Club, McAuley Place, Naas, 27th May, 4:00pm-6:00pm
Children will learn about the history of hygiene, about how soap works with hands-on experiments and make their very own Squishy Soap! They will learn that soap works because it has a hydrophilic (water loving) and hydrophobic end which tears apart the lipid bilayer of nasty germs! Through a hands-on activity they will make their own take home soap that really works!
In addition, they will do Party Experiments!
All attending children will be provided with Science Lab coats and Goggles!
Suitable for 5-12 year old children.
